OPEN HOUSE WEEKEND

Michelle Schmidt is a real estate agent in Sandy, Utah, with Ivie Avenue Real Estate, serving Sandy, Draper, Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Millcreek, South Jordan, West Jordan and Riverton. She helps people buy and sell homes across the Salt Lake Valley and specializes in relocations and in helping medical professionals buy, sell and invest.

In five years, Michelle has closed more than $30 million in home sales, and in 2024 she was named one of the Top 1000 Salt Lake Realtors, out of about 23,000 agents in the area. Every review her clients have left is five stars; one relocating buyer noted she measured their future home while they were still out of state. She is a preferred agent with Utah Partners in Medicine, Curbside Real Estate and Intermountain Healthcare, and she regularly helps residents, fellows and physicians relocate to Utah. She also owns several investment properties, so she can walk investors through rental numbers from her own experience.

Michelle works both sides of the business. For sellers, she builds a pricing strategy from recent local sales, guides prep and staging, markets each home professionally and negotiates to protect net proceeds. For buyers, she helps find the right neighborhood and home, compares resale and new construction, connects them with financing options and handles inspections and negotiation through closing.

Michelle has lived in Utah her whole life and lives in Sandy, where she has sold many homes in the Granite area near the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. She can explain how Canyons, Jordan and Granite school districts differ, how commutes on I-15, Bangerter Highway and TRAX compare from Draper, Daybreak in South Jordan or Holladay, and what growth at The Cairns in Sandy and The Point in Draper may mean for nearby homes. She hikes, bikes and skis the local mountains, especially Little Cottonwood, and serves on several school community councils.
